INTERTIE SUPER-FAST EV CHARGER
Partnered with Intertie to create the new DC fast charger with underground power storage. The underground power storage saves space for owners and provides secure battery storage.
The power system combines large capacity, durable battery, and energy storage with intelligent optimized power flow. The Intertie DC fast charger gives electric vehicle drivers a convenient 100-mile charge in 10 minutes for the same price as gasoline. Also, it has the power to charge trucks and buses.
The California Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Project (CALeVIP) is certificated (page 57).
MY ROLE
As a designer on the team, I was responsible for concept exploration, early prototyping process and CAD modeling. As well, I assisted with the final implementation of visualization and documentation all the while communicating with the client and engineer.
