Knee Brace

Object

To apply the design language of a non-sports brand to a new knee brace intended for a specific sport or activity. This required a keen understanding of the incidence of injuries, as well as the brand's identity.

Approach

This project was designed to protect speed skaters with an ACL injury, and its inspiration was the Braun razor which remains iconic to this day.

I researched the brand history and identity of Braun, possible injuries, and players’ ergonomic requirements. I combined the design language and message of each organization to produce a new design suitable for the target user.
