Object

To design cutting-edge furniture for the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art. The client seeks to establish itself as a totally unique cultural center that does not make the traditional distinction between low and high art. Therefore it was crucial that the final design reflect a bold, approachable style while also embracing a refined innovative aesthetic, all of this in keeping with the local SF/Bay Area way of life.

Approach

The AERO chair is inspired by San Francisco's rolling topography with a simultaneous emphasis on clean and smooth lines.
